HRSS works hard to respond to the needs of its community, and following several working at height incidents in 2021/22 a series of Working at Height related work was done to help railways implement processes and systems to reduce risk and improve defense.

An additional HOPS Workshop was held on the subject of Working at Height, with template SMS document for Advanced HOPS subscriber railways to download.
Working at Height E-Learning
HRSS has an e-learning course for ‘Working at Height on Heritage Railways’ which is delivered for free via HOPS.
Railways that already have access to HOPS can find the e-learning in Competence > Competence Elements (permission 435 required). Completion is automatically saved (with certificate and assessment criteria) in the element files/evidence. The user can also download their certificate.
